Training at the Moment of Need
Truth: there are too many tools out there for any one person to know them all. Young attorneys are coming into law firms unfamiliar with many of the resources used in law firms, so training is imperative – but how do you reach them at the moment of need? We’ll hear from an academic law librarian, a private law firm librarian, and a vendor, to talk about some tips and tricks of the trade to turn a “teachable moment” into an information advantage!
Starring Laura Cadra (Head of Reference/Foreign and International Law Librarian, Loyola Law School and one of my besties), Emily Florio (Library Services Manager at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP), Pauline Self (Solutions Consultant, LexisNexis), Moderator: Jim Senter (California Region Library Services Manager, Jones Day)

As information professionals, we help partners, professors, judges, marketing and business professionals by transforming data into consumable, “actionable” information to give our institutions an information advantage. Join us for the 44th Annual SCALL Institute, where we’ll help you sharpen your skills and up your game!
